asfa’s First Warm Weather Update
By Mercy Kinsey
Hello from the allison sprock fine art team,
Welcome to our new series: asfa’s Warm Weather Update brought to you by this lovely summer sun!
Charlotte’s cool breeze had us thinking about how we can bring more original art into your life. We decided on a monthly update to provide tips and tricks on how to incorporate all of the fine art we have from emerging and established artists from all over the world.
Below are some design tips for your beach house, waterfront lake cabin or your home that just needs a touch more summer flair.
We will highlight artists like Yasharel, P. Allen Smith, Michelle Marra and Jenny Schultz. These artists have art at several price points so your investments can start small and grow over time (with your love of art).

Yasharel’s work is a staple for the summer months because of his gorgeous depictions of bright landscapes using an impressionist perspective. These artworks would be perfectly placed in a cabin by the lake where you sip your morning tea.
Yasharel Manzy immigrated to the United States from Iran when he was just 21. He is primarily a self-taught intuitive painter, who studied under Marc Chatov but also gains inspiration from both the world around him and his deep love of classical music. His work is shown in many galleries around the world including London, Paris, and Germany, and his work was even featured on the American thriller series, Homeland. Faith Hill is a notable collector of his work.
"Near Cannes (France)" 16”x16” $3000
"A Distance" 30"x30" $8,000
P. Allen Smith’s clouds of St. Barths bring a serenity that is simply unmatched. Their quaint size would make them a great addition to your kitchen, living room or office that can comfort you for a day at the computer while the sun is shining outside.
While P. Allen Smith is known for his garden design and television appearances on CBS’s Good Morning America, NBC’s The Today Show , and his own PBS program Garden Home, he is also a prolific painter. His works have been shown and sold at Christie’s and are part of numerous private collections. From his renowned Arkansas home, Moss Mountain Farm, Smith paints scenes of beloved Southern landscapes and favorite retreats, including seaside vistas on St. Barths and Martha’s Vineyard.
"St. Barths" 9"x12" $925
"St. Barths" 9”x12" (unframed) 13x17" framed $925
Jenny Schultz’s paintings use bright hues and lively brushstrokes that would look great in your summer home away from home. Pop these paintings in front of the foyer or the mudroom of your beachside cabin for a cozy feel. Jenny Schultz rediscovered her love of art after retiring from real estate in order to raise three young children. Her works are in collections across the U.S., as well as in Canada, Australia, Scandinavia, and other parts of Europe. Her work is also in the personal collection of The Bechtler’s (The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art).
"Safe Harbour" 40"x40" $4,400
"Spring Blooms" 9"x12" $350
Michelle Marra’s abstract style is fun, bright and unique. Her artwork is a great starter to get you interested in modern abstract art. It is sure to be all the rage at your next summer cocktail party. Michelle Marra was chosen to participate in the inaugural publication of Art Folio, a curated list of the world's most exciting artists, in 2020, 2021 & 2022! In 2019, she won the People’s Choice Award at the juried exhibit show held at Coral Springs Museum of Art, in Coral Springs, FL. Michelle has been juried into numerous regional art shows and has collectors worldwide; London, Morocco and the UAE to name a few.
"Good Day Sunshine" 36" x 36" $3,350
"Hopes and Dreams" 54” x 72” $6,500
